SSDP Leadership Webinar: Guest Series – Getting Elected Officials “On The Record”
This upcoming SSDP leadership webinar will focus on SSDP’s national campaign that seeks to get politicians on the record about their stances on drug policy. Joining SSDP staff members, will be special guest, Irina Alexander. Irina is an SSDP alumna, previous chair of SSDP’s board of directors, and spearheaded SSDP’s On the Record success in the GOP primaries last year in New Hampshire.

SSDP’s Drug Policy Activism Boot Camp in Portland
This event is different from previous SSDP conferences and training events. Instead of focusing on policy issues, this one day training focuses on specific skills such as: asking for money, telling your story, chapter management, and changing drug policies at the campus and state level. Through highly engaging activities and role-playing, participants are guided through the principles of these skills and are given the opportunity to put them into practice right then and there. More information.
- OAKLAND, CA – April 18-21
MAPS Psychedelic Science Conference
At Psychedelic Science 2013, over 100 of the world’s leading researchers from more than 13 countries will present recent findings on the benefits and risks of LSD, psilocybin, MDMA, ayahuasca, ibogaine, 2C-B, ketamine, marijuana, and more, over three days of conference presentations, and two days of pre- and post-conference workshops. SSDP has a special student discount available until April 1, 2013. Take advantage of this and register today.
Thanks for everything that you do to help end the war on drugs. Keep up the great work!
