Position 1: Operations & Logistics Intern

Reports to: Andrew Rexroad & Crystal Hoffman

Responsibilities

• conducting meaningful data analyses
• compiling project documentation
• scheduling/attending meetings
• preparing presentations
• participating in licensee engagement
• participating in inventory counting activities

Qualifications

Required Education:

• Pursuing a degree in Logistics, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

 

Position 2: Executive Assistant

Reports to: Brittany Hallett

Responsibilities

• assisting in office management
• assisting in various HR functions
• assisting in projects in various company departments (marketing, operations, finance)
• assisting in organizing various company events
• assisting in managing travel and executive schedules
• scheduling/attending meetings

Qualifications

• Very organized
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills

Position 3: Finance Intern

Reports to: Nelson Oliver

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update files, inventory, mailing, and database systems; manual and computer processing.
• Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities.
• Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers.
• Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals as requested.
• Log and prepare incoming/outgoing mail and correspondence.
• Compute, record, and proofread data and other information, such as records or reports.
• Type, format, proofread, and edit correspondence and other documents, from notes or dictating machines, using computers or typewriters.
• Review files, records, and other documents to respond to requests.

Qualifications

• Proactive and self-motivated
• College Degree with finance/accounting focus preferred but not required
• 21 years of age
• No felony convictions
• Must successfully pass an extensive background check.
• Must be on time ready to work when scheduled.
• Must be able to successfully work in a team environment.
• Able to perform essential functions of the job.
• Willing and able to follow the CO Medical Marijuana Code as indicated in the State of CO revised statutes.

Career Development Program

SSDP internships will recruit, place, supervise, provide basic workplace training, and manage logistics for interns placed with companies and organizations with mission overlap with SSDP. Examples include direct-service harm reduction organizations, drug policy reform organizations, and legal marijuana businesses. Interns will receive assistance in preparing for and successfully completing internships, job readiness training, and career development assistance.
